Responsibilities of the Laboratory Assistant include (but are not limited to): Assist with lab and equipment maintenance (daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly lab checks); Label samples containers; Wash glassware, waste disposal; Maintain supply inventory; Accept
packages and properly store received items; Autoclave supplies; Make solutions, label tubes/slides and fill sample tubes for studies; Record, input, verify, and compile data; Assist in the preparation of tables, figures, and study-specific forms; Assist with
Report preparation; Inventory samples; Assist with Part 11 compliance; Transfer samples; Data entry; Document retrieval; Assist with upkeep and organization of study notebooks; File paperwork; Work in a team environment with a professional and positive attitude.
Other duties as needed.
Excellent written and oral communication skills; functional computer skills working with word processing and spreadsheets; attention to detail; strong organizational skills.
Some hands-on biological laboratory experience.
High School Diploma with some college education
